The Security Business Partner serves as the primary liaison between the organization and its clients on all matters related to information security. This role bridges client assurance, contractual security obligations, and audit support, working closely with Sales, Account Management and internal security teams to ensure clients receive accurate, timely and consistent security guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients in all matters related to information security.
- Manage and oversee the fulfillment of security contractual obligations, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Collaborate closely with internal account management, sales, and various departments to align security solutions with client needs.
- Deliver excellent service to clients by conducting risk assessments, responding to security questionnaires, and addressing security concerns.
- Support the sales team by assisting with Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), bids, and due diligence activities.
- Support internal and external audits, including client internal audits and third-party audits for standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, SOC 1, SOC 2, GDPR, NYDFS, and others.
- Stay informed about local regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure the organization’s compliance in the region.
- Engage with clients to discuss and educate them on cyber security practices, fostering a deeper understanding and awareness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in Information Security.
- 5+ years of experience in working with clients around Information Security.
- Experience with answering Information Security questionnaires, RFPs, RFIs etc.
- Experience in supporting internal and external information security audits and assessments.
- Information security certification (CISM, CISSP etc.) – Big advantage.
- Strong English oral and written communications and presentation skills.
- A team-player with the ability to work with tight deadlines in a multi-discipline, multi-project environment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and creative person.
