Sapiens UK is seeking a commercially minded Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst to help shape pricing and packaging strategy across the business, as part of our go-to-market growth agenda.

Working Model: Hybrid (Flexible) London

Reporting to the Global Pricing Strategy Senior Manager, this role turns analysis into pricing strategy. You will develop the competitive benchmarks, packaging and segmentation analysis, and scenario work that inform how Sapiens prices across licence, SaaS, services, and consumption-based models. You will work alongside Pricing Operations, who maintain the price book, models, and governance tooling, while your focus is the insight and the strategic recommendations drawn from them.

This is an analytical role with a strategic orientation. You will stay close to the numbers, pressure-test assumptions, frame the options, and make the case for a recommended direction to senior stakeholders. Your contribution is the analysis that turns pricing data into clear strategic choices.

The role works cross-functionally with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, FP&A, and divisional commercial leaders across Property & Casualty, Life & Pension, Reinsurance, and the AI platform business.

Sapiens is undergoing a significant commercial transformation, moving from a licence-and-services model to a subscription-led, SaaS-first business with AI-enabled platform offerings. This role helps shape the pricing strategy and commercial logic required to price, manage, and scale the new model.

Key Workstreams
  • Develop the competitive pricing benchmark across key industry players, and translate it into clear positioning and pricing recommendations.
  • Build the analysis behind the renewal and uplift strategy, testing the data-driven logic that underpins it.
  • Produce packaging and segmentation analysis to inform how Sapiens structures and prices its offers across the portfolio.
  • Model the commercial impact of the AI platform transition on services revenue, and frame the strategic options for leadership.
  • Support the design of the pricing governance framework with analysis of discounting patterns, exceptions, and approval thresholds.
  • Turn pricing performance data, covering discounting, win and loss, indexation, and renewal yield, into insight that informs commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Translate pricing and commercial data into clear strategic recommendations for the Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy, and onward to divisional and executive stakeholders.
  • Act as an analytical partner on non-standard and strategic deals, framing the options and trade-offs for Deal Desk and senior reviewers.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analysis that tests pricing decisions before they reach CFO or executive level.
  • Maintain the competitive intelligence picture across key industry players, keeping it current as the market moves.
  • Work with Pricing Operations to ensure recommendations are grounded in the price book, models, and reporting they maintain.
  • Help shape the commercial narrative for the SaaS and AI transition, including bookings, revenue recognition, and migration incentives.
Experience & Skills Required
  • This role suits an analyst who pairs strong commercial analysis with the judgement to turn it into a strategic recommendation.
  • Five to eight years in pricing, commercial analytics, commercial strategy, or RevOps within enterprise B2B software, including time in SaaS or subscription environments.
  • A track record of producing analysis that has shaped pricing or commercial decisions, not only maintaining reporting.
  • Confidence framing options and recommendations for senior stakeholders, supported by analysis you can defend.
  • Experience with complex enterprise deals (£/$500K+ ARR) involving multi-product, multi-year structures.
  • Strong analytical fluency, including scenario and sensitivity modelling, competitive benchmarking, and segmentation analysis.
  • Fluent across the core strategy toolset, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using AI-enabled tooling such as Claude Cowork to accelerate analysis, benchmarking, and the synthesis of recommendations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, able to make a commercial case land with audiences who are not analysts.
Relevant Background
  • We welcome candidates from pricing or commercial strategy roles in software businesses moving from licence to SaaS.
  • SaaS pricing or commercial analytics professionals experienced in enterprise and consumption-based models.
  • Commercial finance, FP&A, or strategy backgrounds with hands-on pricing or commercial analysis experience.
  • Experience working within a born-in-the-cloud software company, with strong familiarity in cloud-native commercial models and SaaS deal structures.
