Sapiens UK is seeking a commercially minded Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst to shape pricing and packaging strategy across the business as part of our go‑to‑market growth agenda. The role is based in London with a Hybrid (Flexible) working model and reports to the Global Pricing Strategy Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop competitive pricing benchmarks across key industry players and translate them into clear positioning and pricing recommendations.
  • Build analysis behind renewal and uplift strategy, testing the data‑driven logic that underpins it.
  • Produce packaging and segmentation analysis to inform how Sapiens structures and prices its offers across the portfolio.
  • Model the commercial impact of the AI platform transition on services revenue and frame strategic options for leadership.
  • Support the design of the pricing governance framework with analysis of discounting patterns, exceptions, and approval thresholds.
  • Turn pricing performance data (discounting, win/loss, indexation, renewal yield) into insight that informs commercial decisions.
  • Translate pricing and commercial data into clear strategic recommendations for the Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy, and onward to divisional and executive stakeholders.
  • Act as an analytical partner on non‑standard and strategic deals, framing options and trade‑offs for Deal Desk and senior reviewers.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analysis that tests pricing decisions before they reach CFO or executive level.
  • Maintain a current competitive intelligence picture across key industry players.
  • Work with Pricing Operations to ensure recommendations are grounded in the price book, models, and reporting they maintain.
  • Help shape the commercial narrative for the SaaS and AI transition, including bookings, revenue recognition and migration incentives.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, FP&A and divisional commercial leaders.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years in pricing, commercial analytics, commercial strategy or RevOps within enterprise B2B software, including experience in SaaS or subscription environments.
  • Track record of producing analysis that has shaped pricing or commercial decisions, not just maintaining reporting.
  • Experience with complex enterprise deals (£/¥500K+ ARR) involving multi‑product, multi‑year structures.
  • Strong analytical fluency: scenario and sensitivity modelling, competitive benchmarking, segmentation analysis.
  • Fluency with core strategy tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using AI‑enabled tooling such as Claude Work to accelerate analysis.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to make a commercial case to audiences who are not analysts.
  • Commercial finance, FP&A or strategy background with hands‑on pricing or commercial analysis experience.
  • Experience in pricing or commercial analytics roles in software businesses moving from licence to SaaS.
