Sapien are looking for a Contract Project Manager with gas turbine experience to support our client in Surrey.
The project is already four months into delivery.
The requirement is for a Project Manager to provide additional coordination and delivery support, connecting the existing Technical Project Managers with the wider project team and helping to keep the project on track.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities across the Technical Project Managers and wider project team.
- Maintain project plans, milestones, actions and key deliverables.
- Track progress against programme and identify slippage or emerging issues.
- Follow up actions and ensure owners and deadlines are clear.
- Coordinate technical, engineering, procurement and other project activities.
- Identify risks, dependencies and issues and escalate where required.
- Support project meetings and provide clear status updates.
- Maintain alignment between technical workstreams and overall project objectives.
- Help ensure the project remains on programme and key deliverables are achieved.
- Required Experience
- Proven Project Management experience within an engineering or industrial environment.
- Direct experience working with gas turbines is essential.
- Experience coordinating technical engineering teams or multiple project workstreams.
- Strong project planning, tracking and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to identify issues, drive actions and maintain delivery focus.
- Strong communication skills and a structured approach to project control.
