Our client is a design and manufacturer for the Automotive Industry, with several smaller scale projects supporting additional marketplaces. They have a fantastic culture, recognizing staff for their work regularly, in-house training, new state of the art facilities and a collaborative environment. Their focus is naturally offering a great level of product to their client but specifically they lock in on NPD and commercialization of their products. You will join as the sole member of the Electronics team and be a key part of the client's expansion as all subsequent hires will be made underneath you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full Life Cycle Design – Concept to Production
  • Mentoring/Leading other Electronic Design Engineer(s)
  • Product Development and Commercialization
  • EMC Compliance, PCB Layout and Schematic Capture

Skill Required:

  • Someone with circa 10 years in industry and circa 3 years in a Lead/Senior role
  • Has a track record for mentoring, coaching, leading other engineering professionals
  • Able to demonstrate their full product life cycle experience and development work
  • Someone who can show their commercial acumen on their electronic design projects
  • Altium user preferred but not essential

Compensation & Other Benefits:

  • £70,000 to £80,000
