Sapien are looking for Stores Operative for an engineering company based in Sandwich Kent. In this role you are walking into a busy dynamic environment that changes daily. Your list of duties will be varied, and will need to be carried out with high levels of care. You are required to perform a variety of tasks in receiving, storing, accounting for, distributing, shipping, and issuing equipment, apparatus, materials, and supplies; and perform other related duties as required. Due to the nature of the work all candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance to SC level.
Job Responsibilities:
- Goods In activities of receipting, counting and ERP data entry.
- Warehouse maintenance including stock movements and stock control using the ERP system.
- Allocation of stock and the kitting of components into Works Packages.
- Maintaining traceability of goods and materials.
- Preparing materials for shipping to external processors and the receipt of goods after outside processing has taken place.
- Packing of goods ready for dispatch following industry standards or customer requirements.
- Booking of couriers and the despatch of goods ensuring that Export Compliance rules are followed.
- Other general maintenance activities.
- Driving details as required.
- Carrying out any additional tasks as required by line management.
Qualifications:
- Counterbalance Fork Lift License (Preferable not essential)
Experience:
- Working within a warehouse environment or similar (Not essential)
- Previous experience working with stores, goods in, warehouse management
