Sapien are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator to join an established UK manufacturer specialising in bespoke filtration and engineered process solutions based in Camberley. This is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on the fabrication and welding of stainless steel housings and associated components used within specialist filtration systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and fabricate stainless steel housings to specification
- Carry out TIG and MIG welding activities to a high standard
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Support the development of tooling and improved manufacturing methods
- Ensure all completed products meet required quality standards
- Work closely with production and inspection teams throughout manufacture
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of production equipment
- Support the manufacture of bespoke and specialist engineered products
Experience Required
- Proven TIG welding experience on stainless steel
- Previous experience working within an engineering or manufacturing workshop
- Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings
- Consistent and accurate fabrication and welding capability
- Experience with sheet metal work and MIG welding would be advantageous
