Sapien are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator to join an established UK manufacturer specialising in bespoke filtration and engineered process solutions based in Camberley. This is a hands-on manufacturing role focused on the fabrication and welding of stainless steel housings and associated components used within specialist filtration systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and fabricate stainless steel housings to specification
  • Carry out TIG and MIG welding activities to a high standard
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
  • Support the development of tooling and improved manufacturing methods
  • Ensure all completed products meet required quality standards
  • Work closely with production and inspection teams throughout manufacture
  • Assist with maintenance and upkeep of production equipment
  • Support the manufacture of bespoke and specialist engineered products

Experience Required

  • Proven TIG welding experience on stainless steel
  • Previous experience working within an engineering or manufacturing workshop
  • Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings
  • Consistent and accurate fabrication and welding capability
  • Experience with sheet metal work and MIG welding would be advantageous
