Client Overview
Our client is an established Tier 1 supplier for the defence industry, working out of their purpose-built facility which supports the full lifecycle for their product range. As well as offering a technically challenging product line with the opportunity of project ownership and working cross-functionally, they have worked tirelessly to create and maintain a great culture and work ethic within the business.
Job Responsibilities
- Leadership of a NEW project which has been won and this will be full cradle to grave project management
- Prepare, Coordinate, Report – as expected with all Project Management roles
- Directly dealing with both internal and external customers
Skill Required
- Engineering Degree or Equivalent
- Experienced in bringing systems together (Mechanical/Electronic backgrounds)
- High Value, Low Volume production experience
- The ideal candidate would have come from an engineering profession and become a project manager, but this is not an exclusive requirement; if you have been a Project Manager for many years in Engineering then this would be more than fine
- Experienced in Aerospace or Defence
- Candidate must be able to obtain SC Level Clearance
Compensation & Other Benefits
- £60,000 to £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- 25 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays)
