Sapien are looking for a Structural Analyst for our client based in Dorking.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with around 2–3 years' industry experience to work on a confidential, high-profile engineering programme.
This role will be based in Dorking full time however you will be required to go to their client site on the South Coast for 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques.
- Perform simulations and assessments using Siemens Simcenter.
- Support the delivery of engineering solutions on a confidential customer programme.
- Produce clear technical reports and analysis documentation.
- Work collaboratively with engineering teams to deliver projects to quality and programme requirements.
- Ensure engineering work complies with customer and industry standards.
Skills & Experience
- Around 2–3 years' experience in a structural analysis or stress engineering role.
- Knowledge of Siemens Simcenter.
- Strong understanding and practical experience of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Structural, Aerospace or a related Engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
- Current Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to obtain clearance.
- Working Arrangements
- The successful candidate will complete an initial onboarding period of approximately one month at the office in Dorking.
- Following onboarding, the role will be based at a client's site on the South Coast for the short to medium term.
- Longer term, the role will transition back to the Dorking base.
- Accommodation will be provided by while working at the client site.
- A daily subsistence allowance of £35 will be paid whilst working away from home.
