Sapien are looking for a Business Operations Manager for an innovative UK based engineering and technology business developing next generation electric vehicles and advanced mobility solutions based near Clapham. This is a varied role that goes beyond traditional management responsibilities. As the business continues to grow, there will be scope to take on additional responsibility and progress into a senior operations role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and organisational support to the Leadership Team.
- Manage executive diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and key business priorities.
- Prepare presentations, reports, meeting materials and business correspondence.
- Coordinate actions arising from leadership meetings and support delivery of business projects and initiatives.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional and confidential approach.
- Support the smooth running of the office, including facilities, suppliers, visitors and company events.
- Maintain company records, policies, contracts and business documentation.
- Provide administrative support across finance activities, including invoices, expenses and approval processes.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and general HR administration.
- Assist with board, compliance and corporate administration as required.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an Executive Assistant, Business Operations, Office Management or similar role.
- Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High levels of professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach.
Desirable
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automotive, defence, or technology sectors.
