Quality Lead (Yateley)

The Role

As the Quality Manager, you will take ownership of the company’s ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System (QMS), lead internal audits, and work closely with key departments to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the ISO 9001 QMS
• Lead internal audits and project quality inspections
• Drive best practices in quality across the organisation
• Investigate non-conformances and complaints; lead root cause analysis
• Evaluate and monitor suppliers in line with quality standards
• Oversee compliance with legislation and support implementation of additional standards (ISO 13485, 14001, 45001)
• Report on corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential:

• Proven experience in a Quality Management role within manufacturing or engineering
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal auditing
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate across departments
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality improvement

Desirable:

• Exposure to ISO 13485, 14001, or 45001
• Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, COSHH, QMS internal auditing)
• Background in high-precision or multidisciplinary technology environments
