A leading technology company is looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to oversee large-scale engineering projects within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge commercial products used in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and deliver multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept to production.
- Align engineering outputs with operational capabilities and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal processes.
- Lead internal collaboration and support supplier engagement.
- Contribute to project trials and product testing—expect to be hands-on when needed.
- Represent the project team in internal reviews and customer discussions.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in engineering-heavy sectors like automotive, aviation, or manufacturing.
- Engineering degree and hands-on experience in an engineering environment (electro-mechanical systems preferred).
- A qualified project manager (APM or PRINCE2 essential).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Confident managing compliance, including EMC standards, and overseeing supplier relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you’re engaging, solution-focused, and unafraid to get involved beyond your desk.
