An exciting opportunity has opened for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering team working on the development and enhancement of next-generation maritime technologies. You’ll be part of a close-knit team of engineers, collaborating across disciplines to design and develop electromechanical systems that make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing mechanical components in Autodesk Inventor (3D & 2D CAD)
- Driving improvements and modifications to existing products
- Supporting manufacturing processes and resolving design-for-manufacture issues
- Coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure delivery and quality
- Managing configuration and contributing to design change processes
Skills Required:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Vault (preferred).
- Experience with the full product development lifecycle.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
