Lead Quality Engineer

Job Description We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Lead or Principal Quality Engineer to join a growing team for client of ours based within the Defense, Commercial, & Emergency Industries. This role involves leading quality assurance processes and fostering an environment focused on continuous improvement. You will oversee compliance with industry standards, support quality audits, and drive initiatives to uphold the highest product standards. Job Responsibilities Analyze and improve current quality processes to enhance product standards. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HACCP principles. Lead quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Skill Required Proven experience in managing the quality process, preferably within the aviation industry Familiarity with AS9100 standards and broader skills in project and product management Strong analytical skills to assess data and identify trends Quality management certification is essential Able to obtain SC level clearance Compensation & Other Benefits £50,000 to 60,000 per annum Hybrid working options available (3 days in minimum) Company pension and life cover (5x salary) Access to BUPA Medical/Dental and other health support schemes Apply within or contact James Ewart at Sapien Engineering.
