An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a cutting-edge engineering and technology SME. You’ll take ownership of multiple projects ranging from rapid research initiatives to complex development and integration programmes delivering them on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. This is a leadership role with direct customer engagement, bid support, and influence across the organisation.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple projects (customer-funded and internal).
- Manage project planning, risk, budgets, and schedules.
- Act as main customer point of contact, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Support bid and proposal preparation, including writing and coordination.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and support team development.
Skills Required
- Proven experience managing technical or engineering projects.
- Strong background in project planning tools (e.g. MS Project).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Recognised project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2).
