Our client is a design and manufacturer of precision engineered instruments supporting a range of applications in Energy, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and more. They have been regular winners of Queens Awards for innovation and are heavily focused on research and development within their work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and development of advanced automated instruments
- Research current, emerging technologies and testing techniques & opportunities
- Conduct design reviews on new projects and existing instruments
- Liaison with all parts of the business, particularly production engineering and the supply chain
Skills Required:
- Degree Educated in Mechanical Engineering + 5 Years or more within industry
- An engineer who is enthusiastic and a bit of a hobbyist within the field
- Manufacturing process knowledge; CNC, milling, turning, sheet metal, moulding, casting, welding etc
- Hands on practical approach
Compensation & Other Benefits:
- £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
- Opportunity to pick up one of the company’s flagship development projects from day one
- Benefits package, inhouse training etc
