An opportunity has arisen within the Council's Refuse and Recycling Collection Service for the recruitment of a waste collection Driver / Loader based at Woolston Depot. We are committed to delivering a high-quality service to our residents and are looking for flexible and enthusiastic team members to work with us to achieve our aims.
Please note that the successful candidate will begin the role on a starting salary of £29,540. The successful applicants will be expected to be flexible and prepared to work across the whole range of services we provide including domestic, recyclable, food and green waste collections.
RequirementsWhat's needed? Operational hours of work are for 37 hours per week over a 4-day working week Tuesday to Friday 6.30am to 4.15pm. The hours available are for a full day shift within the operating days and times shown. Applicants are required to hold a valid, clean category C class licence and Driver's Certificate of Professional Competence qualification card. Successful applicants may be required to complete a company medical and a driving assessment prior to employment.
