In this role, you will help customers consume SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) within their application projects as the cloud platform of choice. You will coach SAP's most strategic customers and develop relationships with technical decision makers to ensure broad consumption of the portfolio across application projects through technical advisory.

Responsibilities

  • You will proactively partner with customers to sustainably increase consumption of SAP BTP services, building joint outcome‐based plans and driving mutual understanding of IT architecture and business value.
  • You embrace the big picture, deliver expertise with digital transformation, and instruct on technical and business architectures.
  • You are the primary SAP BTP strategic point of contact and orchestrate success resources across SAP and customers, customized to the client's needs.
  • You understand your customer's technical needs and drive consumption plans for your assigned customers.
  • You provide recommendations and prepare the customer to make the best use of the solution, in alignment with SAP strategy and roadmap.
  • You are a voice of the customer to internal SAP stakeholders.
  • You work with colleagues from a broad variety of groups such as Cloud Success Services, life‐cycle relevant centers, Account Teams, Pre‐sales, Product Management, Support, Services, Partners, etc.
  • You enable other team members through knowledge sharing and drive team success at scale.
  • A BTP-CSP Expert may also be assigned to fulfill a larger, more complex customer's premium subscription service.

Role Requirements

  • 7–8 years of experience in the IT industry (Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Implementation, Pre‐sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support, Consulting, etc.).
  • Profound knowledge of public cloud platforms and providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud).
  • Profound understanding of one or more areas of the SAP BTP portfolio: Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, Analytics Cloud Solutions.
  • Profound knowledge of hybrid and cloud‐based landscapes and ability to guide customers on technology architectures and strategies; certifications in enterprise architecture expected.
  • Advanced experience with implementing cloud initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, familiarity with design thinking methodology.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ability to prioritize and communicate proactively.
  • Ability to manage complex organizational dynamics internally at SAP and externally with customers and partners.
  • Continuous learning and adaptation to unique business and cultural practices of each region/country.
  • Strong customer service mindset and empathy.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and solving complex problems.
  • Ability to enable other team members through knowledge sharing and drive team success at scale.
