Summary: We are looking for an accomplished Architecture Senior Specialist - Network who is well versed in delivering consistent, high-quality results to join our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team. You will contribute to SAP's global strategy by supporting our customers with their SAP S/4 HANA adoption on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise as part of the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team.
The Role: As a Architecture Senior Specialist - Network, you will be responsible for the technical and architectural discussions with the customer, solution roadmap development. You must:
- Understand integration approaches with various cloud solutions, business continuity (HA/DR) architecture, underlying network, storage topology on various hyperscaler (AWS, Azure and GCP) platforms.
- Ability to own, lead and coordinate network services related operational tasks, mitigate network related escalations, contribute on network services process improvements.
- Support network operational activities of technical system landscapes on Hyperscaler.
- Identify current Network service-related issues, define action plan, and drive resolution with the help of various Network service providers.
- Bring expertise, provide high quality, and stable network deliverables, operations across customer E2E lifecycle.
- Understand the high availability solutions or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtual technologies (load-balancer, virtual machine) on hyperscalers.
- Pro-active, problem solving, "can-do" attitude and "customer first" mindset.
What you bring:
- Minimum 8+ years of network administration experience or 3+ support experience on any hyperscaler (AWS, MS Azure or GCP).
- Good knowledge on various architecture approaches for deployment on Hyperscalers and hands-on experience in handling at least 1 migration End to End from on-premises to hyperscaler including network onboarding activities.
- Solid knowledge and demonstrable experience in customer network infrastructure related services, having a clear overview and understanding of all network services matrix which relates to people, process, and tools.
- Expertise in at least 1 Hyperscaler technology (Azure/ AWS/ GCP), having overall understanding in all Hyperscalers of onboarding, operation services in network area.
- Collaborative, passionate on network technology, having an ability to connect the dots between customers and all types of network service providers including architecture teams, ability to deescalate network related issues when raised by providing network expertise.
- Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote).
- Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge and latest technologies in an independent and proactive way.
- Understanding of SAP Solutions and related cloud technologies would be a plus.
- Excellent communication both verbal and written in English.
