Role Overview
The Global Value Advisor Expert engages across board areas and executive levels within SAP and partner organizations to drive global collaboration, enable joint innovation, and deliver measurable business outcomes on the alliances. This highly visible and influential role engages across board areas and executive levels within SAP and partner organizations to drive global collaboration, enable joint innovation, and deliver measurable business outcomes on the Alliances: specific joint‑GTM initiatives between SAP and Global Partners working in full alignment with the Partner Business Managers of the specific partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Execution – Drive the design and execution of specific GTM initiatives with Strategic Alliances, establishing clear governance, Sales KPIs, and sales execution that will be documented in Alliance GTM MoUs.
- Align alliance GTM roadmaps to corporate segment objectives for GROW, AI, and public cloud taking into account also regional dynamics.
- For each Alliance, establish clear OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) between Scale Sales Motions GTM Lead and PBM.
- Provide direction to similar roles established at regional level.
- Market & Partner Ecosystem Development – Champion a partner‑first, ecosystem‑centric approach, driving joint demand generation with strategic alliances partner.
- Work hand‑in‑hand with the PES PBM who keeps ownership of the partner relationship and business plan.
- Build executive relationships that accelerate partner‑led and digital routes to market in the corporate segment.
- Work hand‑in‑hand with the Private Equity Team to define a 3‑in‑a‑box GTM for the corporate segment.
- Identify joint potential GTM collaboration within these Alliances for the Private Market.
- Enable AI‑first mindset and position Public Cloud as the vehicle to consume Agentic AI at Partners.
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly report to the board of the progress of the Scale Sales Motions, and owns the escalation of critical issues.
- Define and track scale sales motions KPIs and ensure Regional GTM Leads and PBMs are aligned to meet global targets.
- Leverage data‑driven insights to optimize sales processes, mirroring the measurement rigour expected of the Public Cloud Lead.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of SAP Intelligent Enterprise offerings and SAP product strategy to the Cloud.
- 10+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development and/or Partner‑facing roles.
- Able to own, coordinate and deliver programs, end‑to‑end, in a complex setting with external (partner) and internal (multiple SAP organizations) stakeholders within timeline.
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to respond and thrive in a fast‑paced, high energy, global team environment, including working with stakeholders in multiple time zones and with diverse cultures.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
