We’re builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what’s next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You’ll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritise your wellbeing, and truly belong. What’s in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

The Expert Architecture Advisor plays a critical role in complex and strategic sales opportunities. You will shape end-to-end enterprise architecture vision (As‑Is and To‑Be) and define transformation pathways that align SAP’s portfolio with the customer’s business and IT strategy – strengthening deal credibility and SAP’s strategic positioning. This role sits within the SAP Customer Advisory organisation and works closely with Sales Executives and Partners to define account strategy and bridge the gap between the customer business strategy and SAP solutions. Architecture Advisors combine deep Enterprise Architecture expertise with strong business and industry insight. You will shape complex opportunities, define target state architectures, and create transformation roadmaps that deliver optimal outcomes for the customer. This is a presales advisory role focused on target‑state architecture definition and transformation roadmap creation. Implementation delivery remains the responsibility of SAP Services and/or SAP’s partner ecosystem.

Account Planning & Architecture Management

  • Lead the validation of the customer’s current enterprise landscape (As‑Is) and define the target enterprise architecture (To‑Be) aligned to business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate adoption of SAP’s integrated suite using transformation‑aligned roadmaps and modernised cloud operating models.
  • Orchestrate alignment across SAP sales, solution specialists, partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure architectural consistency and strategic positioning.

Creating an SAP Architecture Vision

  • Develop end-to-end enterprise architecture visions across business, application, data, integration, and technology domains in SAP‑centric and hybrid landscapes.
  • Translate the customer’s business strategy into an executable SAP‑aligned transformation roadmap, ensuring architectural integrity and technical feasibility.
  • Position SAP’s innovation agenda – including intelligent and AI‑enabled processes, unified data architectures, and next‑generation SAP user experiences – within the customer’s transformation journey.

Delivering Key Architectural Outputs

  • Provide architectural support to complex and strategic sales opportunities, establishing robust and defensible architectures that reduce risk and strengthen SAP’s competitive advantage.
  • Lead customer transformation workshops, executive briefings, and architecture deep dives that advance strategic opportunities.

Being the Trusted Architecture Advisor for the Customer

  • Analyse current and future‑state enterprise architecture requirements across SAP and adjacent ecosystems, including non‑SAP platforms and integration patterns, ensuring scalable and implementable outcomes.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Presales, or strategic IT advisory roles within complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to lead executive‑level architecture and transformation discussions, articulating complex design decisions to both business and IT leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience producing target‑state enterprise architecture and transformation roadmaps in complex presales engagements.
  • Strong expertise in cloud architectures, including SAP‑centric landscapes.
  • Broad knowledge of the SAP portfolio.
  • Deep industry expertise and a proven track record supporting digital transformation in Consumer Products; Retail expertise is highly desirable.
  • Proven success influencing senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Proven leadership and project influence experience.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.
  • TOGAF, SAPIEA‑10, or equivalent certification strongly recommended.
  • Demonstrable use of Enterprise Architecture methods, frameworks, and tools in customer‑facing engagements.
  • LeanIX proficiency desirable.
  • Fluency in English required.
