As a Pre-Sales / Solution Consultant Lead for Core & Transaction Banking, you will be the trusted advisor to our prospects and customers, leading engagements that demonstrate the business value and solution fit of SAP Fioneer products. Your focus will be on positioning, demonstrating, and validating our technology in early sales cycles - working closely with sales teams, product managers, and delivery colleagues to win new business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer-facing engagements to understand needs, uncover opportunities, and position SAP Fioneer solutions
  • Translate complex business requirements into high-impact solution designs
  • Drive RFIs/RFPs from a solution perspective, ensuring proposals are compelling and value-based
  • Create and deliver tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, and workshops to business and IT stakeholders
  • Develop and articulate ROI/business cases to support customer investment decisions
  • Convince decision-makers in banks globally - based on technologically sound solutions that drive business value
  • Provide market feedback to product teams to influence roadmap and innovation focus
  • Work closely with sales, solution consulting, and product teams for holistic customer engagement

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in banking technology, software vendors, or consulting with pre-sales or solution engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of core and transaction banking processes (e.g., corporate cash management, retail banking, cards, payments)
  • Track record in designing and presenting solutions as well as engaging C-level and senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to craft value propositions and business cases
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German highly preferred for DACH engagements
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or other core banking systems
