The Account Executive role empowers customers to achieve their full potential by strategically positioning SAP cloud solutions to address unique business challenges and build a foundation for longâterm success. This role manages complex enterprise transformations within a portfolio of strategic accounts.
What youâll do
- Account and Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the endâtoâend account owner, managing sales of software licenses and cloud subscriptions while building trusted executive relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to deliver sustainable growth and consistently exceed revenue targets.
- Build a deep understanding of each customerâs technology landscape, strategic priorities, and competitive environment.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline, ensuring a healthy and advancing sales funnel.
- Mobilise internal resources, including marketing, inside sales, and partners, to create demand and progress opportunities.
- Use SAP's full portfolio, including industry and lineâofâbusiness solutions, to solve customer challenges.
- Run whiteâspace analysis to uncover expansion and crossâsell opportunities.
- Orchestrate the right contributors to win, roleâmodeling the One SAP approach.
- Maintain strong awareness of the competitive landscape and position SAP effectively.
- Ensure CRM accuracy across pipeline and customer information.
- Lead a dedicated account team aligned to the customerâs strategy.
- Ensure all contributors and partners are prepared and positioned for every engagement.
- Maximise the value of SAP's sales support ecosystem.
What you bring
- 10+ years of experience selling complex business software or IT solutions.
- Proven success in enterprise application sales within teamâselling environments.
- Experience managing large transactions and long sales cycles in competitive markets.
- Strong negotiation capability across renewals, expansions, and subscription growth.
- Fluent business English is required.
