A Church of England primary school in Hillingdon is seeking an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This role also includes responsibility as Key Stage 2 Phase Leader, overseeing Years 3-6.

The incoming Year 6 class has made strong progress in Year 5 and is well-prepared for the next stage. The class includes two pupils with SEND and benefits from the support of a full-time Teaching Assistant. Weekly PPA time will be shared with the parallel Year 6 teacher.

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management with clear expectations
  • Deliver engaging, challenging lessons that maintain pace and high standards
  • Ideally have experience in Year 6 and preparing pupils for SATs
  • Bring a positive, proactive approach to teaching and leadership

As KS2 Phase Leader, you will support and guide colleagues across the key stage. Dedicated leadership time out of class will be provided.

The school offers a supportive environment and a TLR 2b (approx. £6k) to reflect the additional responsibility.
