SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a terrific primary school in the Stoke Newington area to recruit a full-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant. This is a general TA role within Year 2, however the cohort has a high level of need, so the successful candidate must be confident, proactive, and resilient. You will be joining a school with high standards, a strong ethos, and a genuine commitment to pupil success.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working in a busy KS1 or KS2 classroom
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management strategies
- Be able to make a clear impact on pupils' learning and wellbeing
- Have a genuine joy for working with young children
- Be flexible, calm, and proactive when supporting pupils with additional needs
- Experience delivering or supporting phonics would be a strong advantage
