The Opportunity
SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with an outstanding primary school in Hackney to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their team from January 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive school environment, supporting children during the important early stages of their development.
The successful candidate will play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment, helping children develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.
The Role
- Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities.
- Helping to deliver an exciting and stimulating Early Years curriculum.
- Supporting children's communication, language, physical and social development.
- Observing children's progress and contributing to assessments and learning records.
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence.
- Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other Early Years practitioners.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Has previous experience working within an Early Years or Nursery setting.
- Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Is passionate about supporting children's early development.
- Can build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Has a warm, patient and proactive approach.
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child development.
