A really lovely secondary SEN school in Harrow is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their team ASAP. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive PE team and have access to excellent resources to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons.

This long-term PE teaching role will continue until July, with a strong possibility of continuation in September. The school will consider teachers qualified in either secondary or primary settings, as long as you have a PE teaching background.

You will deliver PE lessons and physical activities to students with a range of special educational needs, including:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • SEMH
  • Speech and Language Needs
  • Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)
  • Physical and sensory needs

This role requires a teacher who can differentiate effectively, tailor lessons to individual needs, and create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS
  • Be a trained PE Teacher
  • Be engaging, enthusiastic, and patient
  • Have strong behaviour management and adaptive teaching skills
  • Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with SEN
