A supportive two‑form entry primary school in Ealing is seeking a Reception Teacher for a full-time, term-time only position from January 2026 to July 2026, with a possible extension to December 2026.

The Reception cohort is well-established, and you will be part of a year-group team who plan together. The class has approximately 30 pupils and is supported by a full-time Nursery Assistant who has strong knowledge of the children and routines.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Experience teaching in an EYFS setting (an experienced teacher is preferred)
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence leading a Reception class of around 30 children
  • ECTs with EYFS experience may be considered, but the school is unable to provide formal ECT support this year
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality EYFS provision tailored to Reception pupils
  • Plan, deliver, and assess learning in line with EYFS expectations and school frameworks
  • Ensure a purposeful, structured, and nurturing learning environment
  • Maintain meticulous organisation of planning, assessment, and classroom systems
  • Work effectively with the full-time Nursery Assistant
