Location: Brent, North West London

Salary: Competitive - up to £120 per day (PAYE only)

SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to be working with a leading, highly creative Primary School in Brent who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team on a part-time basis (Thursday and Friday).

This role will involve working across Nursery and Reception, supporting young learners at a crucial stage in their development within a warm, inspiring and exceptionally well-led school.

About the Role - Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse

You will work closely with class teachers and the wider Early Years team to support learning across Nursery and Reception. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children's learning through play-based and structured activities
  • Working 1:1 and with small groups to support early communication, language and social development
  • Supporting early phonics and pre-reading skills
  • Helping to maintain a calm, engaging and stimulating learning environment
  • Supporting routines, transitions and personal care where required
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children and staff
  • Ensuring children feel safe, supported and excited to learn

The School Is Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Has experience working in Nursery and/or Reception
  • Is warm, patient and genuinely passionate about Early Years education
  • Understands child development and early learning principles
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Is reliable and committed to Thursday and Friday each week
