Midday Meals Supervisor/Lunchtime supervisor

£13 to £15 per hour

Are you seeking a part time role within a school? Do you like the sound of a 2 hour position each day that will still allow you to drop-off and pick- up your own children from school? If so, this is the role for you!

Midday Meals Supervisor/Lunchtime supervisor

This role of Midday Meals Supervisor/Lunchtime supervisor is to help supervise students over the lunch period at school while teachers and permanent members of staff have their own lunch breaks.

  • Supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and sometimes classrooms to ensure they are safe.
  • Making sure children move safely around the school (lining up, going to/from the hall or playground).
  • Supervising play to prevent accidents and deal with incidents promptly.
  • Helping younger children with practical tasks such as cutting up food, opening packets, or carrying trays
  • Promoting positive play and socialising
