The Role
The school are seeking an experienced or ambitious Year 3 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and support pupils as they build confidence and independence in Key Stage 2.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing targeted support where needed
- Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with the parallel Year 3 teacher and wider KS2 team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
