YOUR ROLE

  • Supporting pupils with autism through tailored learning approaches in our specialist special needs setting.
  • Working as a committed teaching assistant with primary-aged pupils, building positive relationships with children who have special needs including autism.

  • Collaborating with special needs teachers to create inclusive learning experiences for pupils with autism and varying requirements.

Essential Qualities

  • Enthusiastic & dedicated personality.
  • Experience supporting pupils with special needs, especially autism (ASD).
  • Background in educational settings as a teaching assistant – primary age range preferable.
  • Strong communication abilities suitable for special needs environments.
  • Proactive, committed, resilient and reliable approach to teaching assistant responsibilities.

  • Team Teach certification highly desirable (or willingness to train).
