Are you an experienced Primary Teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs? A welcoming primary school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated and skilled Teacher to work within their on-site Alternative Provision, supporting a small group of 12 pupils with additional needs. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a highly supportive setting.
You will be working alongside a team of 4 experienced support staff, delivering tailored learning to meet a range of needs. The school offers excellent facilities, including a sensory room, and prides itself on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for both staff and pupils.
This role is suited to a qualified and experienced teacher (QTS essential, no ECTs) with a strong background in SEN and additional needs.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (essential) with proven classroom experience
- Have strong experience teaching pupils with additional needs
- Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual learning requirements
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and emotional support strategies
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
