About the school

Sanza are looking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and engaging Primary SEN Teacher to join an outstanding special needs school in Plumstead, Greenwich. This is a small and thriving mainstream Primary School who caters to children aged 4 - 11 years old.

About the role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with pre verbal, ASD, down syndrome and other needs. Working within small class sizes of 8 - 10 children and a TA with some children transitioning between mainstream and the provision. You will create a structured, safe and stimulating environment that supports communication, social development, and emotional regulation. You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and parents to ensure each child receives a personalised learning experience that promotes progress and independence.

Qualifications

  • Ideally Primary or SEN Teachers with a special education within QTS and a proven track record of teaching
  • You should have a real desire and motivation to make a difference to the lives of students.
  • You will have prior experience of supporting pupils with additional needs.
