SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a highly regarded maintained nursery school in Hammersmith & Fulham to recruit an experienced SENCO for a maternity cover position starting in September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a warm, nurturing, and well-established early years setting that is dedicated to providing outstanding support for children and families. The Role
- Part-time SENCO position (3 days per week)
- Flexible working pattern available, although a set timetable can also be accommodated
- Maternity cover from September 2026 until July 2027
- Paid to scale
- Working within a maintained nursery school environment
- Leading and managing SEND provision across the setting
- Liaising with parents, external agencies, and staff to ensure children receive the support they need
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds the NASENCO qualification, or has substantial experience managing the SENCO workload within a school or early years setting
- Has experience working within Early Years
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice
- Is organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs
