SANZA Teaching Agency, a sister company to Tradewind Recruitment, is delighted to be working in partnership with a large, inclusive mainstream primary school in the Plumstead, Greenwich area. The school is well known for its supportive ethos and commitment to ensuring all pupils receive the tailored support they need to thrive academically and personally.
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Year 5 & 6 Intervention Teaching Assistant to join the team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role running through to the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 as they prepare for their SATs examinations, helping to raise attainment and build confidence.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver and support targeted intervention sessions for Year 5 & 6 pupils
- Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and support staff to implement effective strategies
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor, track, and record pupil progress, providing feedback to staff and parents
- Use a range of tailored intervention strategies to support learning and development
- Opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression
