A primary school in Ealing, West London is seeking a Level 3 (or above) Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within the Early Years / Foundation Stage (EYFS) alongside a supportive and experienced staff team. The successful candidate will be highly proactive, enthusiastic, and passionate about early childhood development, with strong experience supporting learning and play in an EYFS setting.

About the Role

  • Supporting teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
  • Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to deliver engaging, child-centred provision
  • Promoting positive behaviour, independence, and social development
  • At lunchtimes, providing 30 minutes of targeted support for pupils with special educational needs, including Autism and ADHD, while their usual support staff take breaks
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare, Early Years, or Teaching Assistant studies, or a CACHE qualification
  • Proven experience working in EYFS within a primary school or nursery setting
  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs, including Autism and ADHD
  • A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
