SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, vibrant school in Barking & Dagenham. They are seeking a caring and confident learning support assistant to join their wonderful school from January 2026.

Further details: The school is a mainstream primary school with 2 Additional Resource Provisions (ARPs). Students in the ARP all have a diagnosis of Autism and other speech, language and communication needs.

About you:

  • Previous experience as a learning support assistant or teaching assistant within a primary school
  • Experience working with Autism
  • Understanding of alternative communication methods
  • Understanding of the emotional and sensory needs of children with Autism
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Proactive
  • Ability to connect with children and build strong rapport
