Learning Support AssistantAutismBarking & DagenhamSANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, vibrant school in Barking & Dagenham. They are seeking a caring and confident learning support assistant to join their wonderful school from January 2026.

Further details:The school is a mainstream primary school with 2 Additional Resource Provisions (ARPs). Students in the ARP all have a diagnosis of Autism and other speech, language and communication needs.

About you:

Previous experience as a learning support assistant or teaching assistant within a primary school

Experience working with Autism

Understadning of alternative communication methods

Understanding of the emotional and senory needs of children with Autism

Strong behaviour management

Proactive

Ability to connect with children and build strong rapport
