Isle of Dogs, Tower Hamlets | Start WC 2nd March

SANZA Teaching Agency are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school located on the Isle of Dogs, Tower Hamlets. We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join this primary school from week commencing 2nd March.

The Role:

You will be supporting a pupil with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition). The child is verbal, though has a limited vocabulary, and can sometimes become frustrated when finding communication or learning challenging. This role requires someone patient, emotionally attuned and consistent, who can:

  • Support communication and language development
  • Help regulate emotions and manage frustration positively
  • Adapt tasks to ensure access to learning
  • Use clear, structured approaches and visual supports where appropriate

Alongside providing targeted 1:1 support, you will also contribute to the wider classroom, assisting the teacher and supporting other pupils as needed. The class teacher is highly supportive and a genuine pleasure to work alongside, creating a collaborative and welcoming working environment.
