Are you an experienced and passionate Key Stage 2 teacher looking for your next opportunity this Autumn? A welcoming and ambitious 2-form entry primary school in Woodford, Redbridge is seeking an exceptional Year 5 Teacher to join their team for the Autumn term. Due to a late resignation, the school is moving quickly with interviews and observation lessons taking place immediately.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach a well-settled class who have successfully completed Year 4 together and are ready to embark on their Year 5 journey. The school has high expectations for both achievement and behaviour and is looking for a teacher who can inspire pupils to reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced primary teacher (ECTs are not eligible for this position).
  • Have strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Upper KS2.
  • Be a confident, reflective practitioner with excellent classroom practice.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
  • Demonstrate positive and effective behaviour management strategies.
