The Opportunity
SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with an outstanding primary school in Hackney to recruit a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join their team from January 2027. The successful candidate will take responsibility for their own class, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. The Role
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Taking full responsibility for the teaching and learning of your class.
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning requirements.
- Establishing high expectations for behaviour, achievement and classroom engagement.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has previous experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Has strong curriculum knowledge and effective lesson-planning skills.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
- Is confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
- Has high expectations for pupil progress and achievement.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
