Hackney - Near London Fields | Start 23rd February | Until End of Academic Year
SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established 2-form entry primary school in Hackney, ideally located close to London Fields. We are seeking a committed and adaptable Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to start on 23rd February, with the role continuing through to the end of the academic year.
The Role:
This is a varied and rewarding position where you will work across three different classes during the course of the day, supporting four pupils, each with an EHCP in years 2 and 3. The needs of the children vary, and the core focus of the role is to support them in accessing the curriculum, ensuring they are fully included in classroom learning and making meaningful progress.
You will:
- Provide in-class support across KS1 and/or KS2
- Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
- Support pupils with EHCP targets
- Encourage engagement, independence and confidence
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and the SENCo
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience supporting children with additional needs
- Is flexible and confident working across multiple classes
- Understands how to scaffold learning to improve curriculum access
- Is proactive, patient and positive
- Works well as part of a team
This role would suit an experienced TA/LSA looking for a dynamic position within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Pay: £95 per day, increasing to £115 per day after 12 working weeks.
