The Role

Working within the Baby Room, you'll help create a caring, stimulating environment where babies feel safe, secure and inspired to explore the world around them. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting babies' learning, development and emotional wellbeing through high-quality interactions
  • Planning engaging, play-based activities that promote curiosity and early development
  • Observing children's progress and contributing to individual learning journeys
  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Supporting communication, physical, personal, social and emotional development
  • Working closely with colleagues to maintain an outstanding learning environment

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above preferred)
  • Has previous experience working with babies or within an Early Years setting
  • Is caring, patient and passionate about giving children the very best start in life
  • Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Builds strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
