Learning Support Assistant - Greenwich, South East London - Immediate start - Up to 103.10 per day depending on experience.

Sanza Teaching Agency are working closely with a mainstream primary school in Plumstead, Greenwich who are looking for an LSA to join their SEN Team!

About the school

The primary school serves families from the surrounding area and plays an important role in the local community. It is a friendly, familiar setting where children are known well and supported from their very first days in school. There is a strong emphasis on positive behaviour, respect, and looking after one another. The school works closely with parents and carers, valuing open communication and partnership. This supportive approach helps children feel secure, make progress, and leave well prepared for the next stage of their education.

About the role

The successful LSA will work as part of a supportive team alongside other LSAs, helping to deliver the National Curriculum within the SEN classroom. You will usually be supporting one or two children during the day, which is a lovely opportunity to work with a range of children, allowing you to build your skills and confidence by supporting different needs within an SEN classroom setting.

About you

  • Have prior experience supporting children with Special Education Needs and completed long term positions in other Primary and/or Special School settings.
  • Provides consistent, high-quality support to help pupils access learning.
  • Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Adapts tasks and resources to meet different learning needs.
  • Uses calm, positive behaviour strategies to support engagement.
