Overview
Early Years / EYFS Teacher – Islington – September Start. SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a warm, inclusive, and supportive primary school in the London Borough of Islington to recruit an experienced and dedicated Early Years Teacher for the full academic year, starting 1st September 2025.
This wonderful two-form entry school is proud of its diverse community and child-centred approach. The school has a strong focus on providing high-quality EYFS education and is looking for a passionate Primary Teacher who can make a real impact in the classroom.
Location: Islington, North London
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Full Academic Year (until July 2026)
Pay: MPS3 – MPS5 (£218.13 to £241.38 per day PAYE)

Responsibilities
- Full-time EYFS Teacher role in a welcoming and well-resourced Early Years setting
- Working within a highly collaborative Early Years Foundation Stage team, planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons
- Supporting the development of early reading, writing, numeracy, and social skills in line with the EYFS framework
- Contributing to continuous assessment, observations, and tracking of progress to ensure each child reaches their potential
- Collaborating with parents, carers, and external professionals to support children\’s wellbeing and learning
The Ideal Early Years / EYFS Teacher Will Have
- Proven experience teaching in an Early Years or Reception classroom within a primary school
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies suited to an EYFS setting
- A warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing personality, with a genuine passion for Early Years education
- The ability to inspire young learners and create a safe and stimulating classroom environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Full right to work in the UK
- A full employment history
