SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a 3-form entry junior school in the borough of Havering (Romford). They are seeking a teaching assistant (Autism/SEN) to join their wonderful and inclusive school! This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to drastically improve the social and educational outcomes of young people with Autism. The role will be a 1‑year contract for the full academic year – September 2026 to July 2027.
About you:
- You will have experience as a teaching assistant (or similar position) supporting Autism and/or special educational needs (SEN).
- You will be patient and calm in your approach to supporting children.
- You will possess excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- You will be committed to equity and inclusion.
- You will have a solid understanding of sensory processing differences, communication needs, and social challenges of children with Autism.
