Sanza are seeking a motivated, supportive and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school team in Mitcham. This is a vital role within the school, helping pupils in Years 3-6 to reach their potential – supporting their learning, building their confidence and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Support pupils' learning across the KS2 curriculum under the direction of the class teacher.
- Work with individuals and small groups, including targeted interventions for pupils with SEND or additional needs.
- Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
- Help monitor and record pupil progress and contribute to assessments.
- Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional wellbeing.
- Liaise with teachers, the SENCO and other staff to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.
- Uphold the school's safeguarding policies and maintain a safe learning environment.
The school are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with primary-age children, ideally at KS2 level.
- Is patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
