Year 6 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Support
Location: Willesden Green, North West London

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £90-£110 per day, PAYE
SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to recruit a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil on a 1:1 basis at a primary school in Willesden Green.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 support in lessons and throughout the school day.
- Use effective behaviour strategies to support engagement and participation.
- Help the pupil manage emotions, develop confidence and access learning.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting primary-aged children with challenging behaviour.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A patient, resilient and consistent approach.
- The ability to build trust while maintaining firm, fair boundaries.
- Previous 1:1 or SEMH experience is desirable.
