The Role
The school are seeking an adaptable KS2 Teacher who can confidently teach across Years 3-5 and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons. Responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Adapting teaching to suit different year groups (Years 3-5)
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing targeted support
- Creating an engaging and positive classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with the KS2 team
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Confidence teaching across Years 3-5
- Strong classroom management skills
- A flexible and proactive attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for primary education
